1. Backup Bookmarks - (Bookmarks->Organize Bookmarks->Import and Backup->Backup)
2. close firefox
3. move ~/.mozilla ~/.mozilla.backup

Problems with Acroread Firefox plugin?

1. Backup Bookmarks - (Bookmarks->Organize Bookmarks->Import and Backup->Backup)
2. close firefox
3. move ~/.mozilla ~/.mozilla.backup
4. if the above two steps fail, then click Edit->Preferences->Applications->pdf and change the document viewer
